A general conference for combating drugs in Middle East
The regional conference regarding cooperation between the area's countries to overcome drugs will conclude tomorrow. Representatives of Egypt, Jordan, Israel and the Palestinian government are participating for the first time since 1996.
The Palestinian government initiated the cooperation with the regional cooperation fund to convene this unique conference.
Dr. Ahmed El-Rehim Abu Saleh, the deputy chief of the Palestinian health council, said, "This conference is an incarnation of many former Israeli-Palestinian conferences, and the response of all parts to this initiative reflects the desire of the whole to combat this crisis."
