UN okays oil-for-food increase

The United Nations Security Council yesterday approved an increase in the amount of oil Iraq is allowed to sell within current phase of the oil-for-food program by $3.04 billion. The former limit was $5.26 billion. The current phase of the program began on May 25 and will last for 180 days.
