Six Iraqis wounded in US air raids

Six Iraqi citizens were wounded, including two children, in southern Iraq as a result of a raid launched by US planes against residential areas in the region. The Iraqi Information Ministry said the raid targeted al-Amara province and direct damage took place to property.

187 Iraqi civilians have been killed and another 494 wounded as a result of continued British - US bombardment, which has been targeting northern and southern Iraq since December 1998.
