A Gulf diplomatic source in Doha said that a Gulf delegation is to visit the Turkish capital, Ankara, in days to study with the specialized Turkish fronts implementing a reconstruction program for the Turkish areas that were destroyed due to a major earthquake last month which will be financed by the Gulf Cooperation Council states.

The source said the Gulf states decided to specify $400 million for this purpose and that GCC Secretary-General Jamil al-Hujeilan sent a message to Turkish Foreign Minister Ismail Cem days ago in which he informed him of the council's decision, taken by the foreign ministers of the six GCC member states in their meeting in Jeddah last week.
