The Palestinian Hamas opposition movement is due to hold its meeting in Sudan's capital, Khartoum, within the coming period.
Official sources in Hamas made press statements that it was decided during this meeting to take a decision to expand the Shoura council of the movement from 18 to 88 members, to achieve a balance between the leadership in the Palestinian territories in the West Bank and Gaza Strip and the other leaderships in Arab and foreign capitals, at the time when Khaled Mishal continues to be the leader of the political bureau of the movement.
