Nawaf Mazalha: Final talks will be difficult
Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister and Knesset member Nawaf Mazalha said today that there is no problem between the Palestinian and Israeli sides on implementing the Wye River accord, saying that the great challenges will be among the final status issues.
Mazalha confirmed that the peace process will take a long time and be difficult, but at the end it will win. He also expressed hopes that negotiations honestly take place until a just and comprehensive peace can be achieved.
Moreover, Nawaf Mazalha emphasized that the date of proclaiming the Palestinian state is a Palestinian decision to be taken in agreement with brotherly Arab states, but it is better if the agreement is with Israel.
