King Abdullah, Dutch FM discusses Middle East peace

King Abdullah II of Jordan on Wednesday discussed with Dutch Foreign Minister Jozias van Aartsen the Middle East peace process, relations between the two countries and means of strengthening them in various areas.

King Abdullah stressed the importance of resuming the peace process on all tracks, implementing signed agreements and pushing the Middle East peace process towards its objectives.

Earlier in the day, the Dutch FM arrived in Amman for a two-day visit, during which he will meet with several Jordanian officials.

The Dutch minister held talks with his Jordanian counterpart on bilateral relations and means of backing and strengthening them in various fields and the European Union's role in giving a push forward to the Middle East peace process.
