Iraq defuses bombs
The Iraqi News Agency said on Sunday that the Iraqi civil defense forces defused some 63 "grape" bombs dropped by US and British planes against an electricity generation station in Iraq.
The agency added that other Iraqi civil defense teams defused a US missile fired by one US plane against a village in al-Debs district of At Ta'mim province, but the agency did not specify the time when the bombs and missile were dropped.
Meanwhile, the US European Command said that US jets flying as part of Operation Northern Watch, which patrols the northern Iraqi no-fly zone, bombed "a military radar site south of Saddam Dam" today after being fired on by Iraqi anti-aircraft artillery.
