Originally published

The Palestinian government has welcomed the results of the dialogue held last week in Cairo between the Palestiman Fatah movement and the People's Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

In a statement issued on Saturday night following its meeting in Ramullah, the Palestinian government called for continuing dialogue with the Palestinian groups in the occupied territories and in the diaspora to convene a plenary meeting for a pan-national Palestinian dialogue.

The statement added that the Palestinian government also discussed recent calls made by Palestinian forces and individuals to carry out military operations, noting that there is no place for such operations following all these "bitter experiences the Palestinian people are suffering."

The Palestinian government also welcomed the current visit made by Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani to the Palestinian government areas.
