African summit ratifies Terrorism protective agreement

The 35th summit of the Organization of African Unity on Wednesday in Algiers ratified in its third day of celebrations the agreement of the OAU on the prevention and combating of terrorism.

The summit also voiced backing for convening an international summit under the auspices of the OAU in order to create a proper international strategy for fighting terrorism and defining the elements that international groups should implement to eliminate terrorism.
