A new phase in the Sudanese - Egyptian relations
Ahmed Abd El-Halim, Sudan's ambassador in Cairo, stated that Egyptian - Sudanese relations will witness a new phase during the coming period in which work among ministers and their counterparts in the two states will take place directly to support cooperation in different fields so that relations can return to normalcy as they were in the era of integration.
After a meeting with ambassador assistant foreign minister for Sudan affairs Fouad Yousef following his return from Sudan yesterday where he headed an Egyptian delegation to Khartoum, Ambassador El-Halim said in press statements that he sees the two countries, "opening cooperation horizons without any limits."
He added that the rest of the Egyptian properties in Sudan will be delivered according to a schedule agreed upon to rectify all suspended issues, which previously contributed to tensions between the two states, in a period of a few months.
