Salah: Yemeni - Saudi border dispute near end
Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh said the Yemeni - Saudi committee for determining border demarcation will finish its work in the coming week where they will exchange maps before convening a bilateral summit to discuss joint developments.
He said in press statements that "Yemen and Saudi Arabia are making communications for signing the note of legal protection in Mecca soon."
He hailed his country's relations with Egypt as good and developed, adding that there is a joint committee for cooperation between the two states.
Saleh said international supervision of the coming presidential election is refused because it means interference in the country's affairs. Yemen approved non-governmental supervision from parties, associations and the Arab and foreign press.
