Russia resumes cooperation with Libya
Russian President Boris Yelstin on Monday signed a decree to resume diplomatic and economic relations between Russia and Libya after the UN Security council has suspended the sanctions imposed on Libya because of the Lockerbie incident. The Russian presidential decree is applicable to all state establishments and industrial and trade companies working in the areas of transport, banking, organizations, and legal commissions, falling under Russian law.
