Amman's people's conference in defense of Jerusalem

Originally published

The general secretariat for the people's conference in defense of Jerusalem has expressed its concern over the grave conditions in the Palestinian territories, especially in the city of Jerusalem which the secretariat said has been undergone a new campaign of Judaization and distortion of its Arab Islamic identity.

In a statement issued in Amman on Tuesday, the general secretariat said that acts of aggressions against Jerusalem and the occupied Arab territories are crystal clear in confiscating more Palestinian territories in Jerusalem's suburbs and neighborhoods in order to expand Israeli settlements, in withdrawing the IDs of the Palestinian people and in closing down Palestinian establishments and offices in the holy city.

The statement asserted that the Israeli measures against the holy city fall in the course of a "Zionist strategy to Judaize Jerusalem" and made it non-negotiable and called upon Arabs and Muslims to rise up and protect Jerusalem and its Arab people.
