On Iranian president's visit to Damascus

The Lebanese daily al-Nahar issued on Wednesday quoted well-informed political sources in Beirut as saying that Iranian President Muhammad Khatami will by the middle of next month hold a tour of the region which he will start in Syria. The Lebanese daily added that contacts are underway between Damascus and Tehran to set a final date for the visit. The paper indicated that the working agenda will include means of strengthening bilateral relations in various fields and Kosovo crisis.
