Israel continues aggression against south Lebanon
Israeli warplanes on Wednesday renewed their raids on areas north of the occupied part of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said that two Israeli warplanes raided the eastern parts of Zibqin town in the western sector and fired several missiles.
The sources added that the missiles caused damage in several houses.
Lebanese army anti-aircraft missiles were fired against the Israeli planes which dropped thermal balloons.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces bombarded several villages and towns in the western and central sectors and hills and heights of al-Tuffah district in south Lebanon.
Lebanese security sources said the Israeli artillery bombarded the western outskirts of Yater town, al-Salawqi valley, Kafra, Jibal al-Butoum, and al-Assi district in the western sector. The Israeli artillery also bombarded Shaqra, Majdal Soloum, Khurbet Soloum, Yahmur, al-Shaqeif and Zouter East and Zouter west in the central sector. The Israeli attacks also covered the woods of Sujoud, al-Rayhan, Aqmata farm, Litani river course and al-Rafee mountain.
The attacks coincided with intensive shelling against the border lines in the western and central sectors and the mountainous routes which link al-Tuffah district to the occupied part of south Lebanon.
Meanwhile, the Israeli warplanes launched mock and provocative raids at low altitudes over vast areas of south Lebanon and were intercepted by Lebanese Army and national resistance anti-aircraft fire. The occupation forces also bombarded the outskirts of al-Nabatieh and Fawqa and the surroundings of the deserted Lebanese Army barracks in al-Nabatieh.
News reports from south Lebanon said that Israeli occupation forces bombarded Muthalath al-Teibeh and Wadi al-Itmeh situated betweeb Qibreiha and Bani Hayyan from its position in Tallet al-Mashrou.
In retaliation the Lebanese resistance attacked Israeli human and artillery moves inside the Israeli occupation position in Balat in the occupied part of south Lebanon, using rockets. In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said that direct and precise hits were scored.
One Lebanese resistance group launched a violent attack against al-Debshe position in the occupied part of south Lebanon. The Lebanese resistance carried out further attacks against the Israeli forces and its militia allies in Sujoud, Beer Klab, Kassaret al-Aroush, and direct hits were achieved.
