Abdul Meguid: Egyptian position toward Jerusalem has never changed
Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid said the Israeli government's provocation's regarding Jerusalem will not shake the Arab stance toward Jerusalem, which he said it is the capital of the Palestinian state, adding that its destiny will be determined in final status negotiations.
In press statements yesterday, Abdul Meguid said all Israeli provocations, the most recent of which was convening a Israeli high-ranking official meeting in the headquarters of Jerusalem municipality on Wednesday to prove its claims of sovereignty over Jerusalem, will not delay the Arabs one step in achieving their goal, which is Jerusalem's return to Palestinian sovereignty.
