Iranian source denies Israeli claims

A well-informed Iranian source categorically denied on Sunday reports that Iranian companies signed trade contracts with an Israeli company during Cologne's international exposition in Germany, according to a report on Sunday by the Israeli daily Maariv.

In statements to Monte Carlo radio, the Iranian source described the Israeli claims as mere lies and a flagrant Israeli maneuver that falls in the context of futile Israeli attempts to distort the image of Iran.

The source recalled Iran's position rejecting any type of relations with Tel Aviv, based on non-recognition of Israel and viewing Israel's existence as an illegitimate occupation to the Palestinian territories.
