Canadian - Palestinian commercial agreement

Originally published

The Palestinian Authority and the Canadian government signed an agreement for commercial cooperation between the two sides at the end of the visit paid by Canadian Minister of Trade Sergio Marchi to Palestinian areas.

The agreement granted Canadian agricultural products like seeds, oils and beef customs exemptions.

The agreement allows the entry of Palestinian products to Canada without customs, along with a Canadian pledge to provide technical support for Palestinian industries to enhance their capability to compete in international markets.
