Syrian FM confers with IAEA official

Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa on Monday night in Damascus received the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Dr. Muhammad al-Baradi. Talks dealt with technical cooperation between Syria and the IAEA in the area of peaceful use of atomic power.

The meeting was attended by the director general of the Syrian Atomic Energy Commission, Dr. Ibrahim Othman, and the chairman of the organization department at the Syrian Foreign Ministry, Klaufis Khuri.
