Lebanon interrogates television photographer for dealing with Israel
A Lebanese source said today that an investigation is currently taking place against Lebanese television photographer Mahmoud Jaloul by the means of security specialized bodies accusing him of dealing with Israel.
In a statement to ArabicNews.com the source confirmed that the photographer, who was detained last Thursday while passing by his car in southern Beirut, is still undergoing a security investigation.
The source refused to disclose the details leading to Jaloul's arrest, yet he stated that Jaloul has nothing to do with the alleged Israeli spy ring most of whose members Lebanese Army intelligence arrested last Friday.
