Report: Moroccans consume 1,000 Viagra pills daily

Moroccans consume 1,000 viagra pills daily or 7,500 boxes per month, "Maroc-Hebdo" weekly reported in its latest release.

There are three distributors in Morocco of the blue pills, which give a boost to the sex lives of impotent men, the weekly said.

According to the weekly, the highest consumption rate was recorded during the months of July, August and September which coincide with the return of Moroccan immigrants for summer holidays at home.

Morocco, which produces the pill, was the 3rd country in the world to authorize the selling of Viagra after the USA and Switzerland. The pill was marketed in Morocco in May 1998.
