Sudanese minister of information calls for coalition government

Originally published

Sudanese Minister of Information Ghazi Salah al-Din called for forming a coalition government that would work within the framework of the Sudanese political multiplicity law.

Meanwhile, Salah al-Din said in press statements that it is necessary to upgrade the current government to a coalition government comprising different political movements.

Since the recent implementation of the political multiplicity law, 28 Sudanese parties have presented registration requests, with the notable exception of the large parties from the democratic era.

Moreover, Salah al-Din denied what was stated on dismissing southern official Ryak Mashar from the government after he decided to register a new party and step aside from the ruling National Conference.
