Rate of 65 percent of Moroccan tv viewers watch local TV programs

A study ordered by the Moroccan communication ministry revealed that programs of the two Moroccan TV channels are watched by 65% of TV viewers.

Moroccan communication minister, Larbi Messari, told a government meeting Thursday that 21% of Moroccan TV viewers watch arab satellite channels while another 12% prefer programs broadcast by European channels.

In a previous announcement, Messari had said the government plans to establish partnership between the two Moroccan stations for programs broadcast by satellite in order to attract tv viewers who follow other arab channels.
