Turkey: Syria will not receive Ocalan again in its territories
The director of the Turkish general security department, Najati Beiljan, said it would be difficult for the leader of the Kurdistani Workers Party, Abdullah Ocalan, to return to Syria after he lost hope that the Italian government will offer him political asylum in its territories.
Beiljan, who was talking to reporters in the Turkish city of Bourca, added that if the Syrian government would open its doors to the return of Ocalan, the Turkish reaction would be very strong and tension will come back to relations between the two countries.
The Turkish official expressed his conviction that it is impossible that Syria will receive Ocalan again in its territories because Syria does not want new tensions with Turkey.
He indicated that Turkey will continue to search for the location of Ocalan and that within the few coming days his new location will become known.
