19,000 small and medium-sized industrial establishments in Egypt

An Egyptian governmental economic report confirmed today that the number of small and medium-sized industrial establishments in Egypt reached 19,000 that account for nearly 85% of Egypt's total industrial establishments and whose capital totals nearly 19 million pounds.

The report said that Egypt's total industrial establishments reached 22,483, working in mining, food industries, textiles, ready-made clothes and chemicals.
