Cairo: negotiations to establish large road network

The Egyptian national organization for bridges and roads began negotiations with the Egyptian - Saudi company for investment in roads, whose capital amounts to $500 million, in order to implement a project road network the company will establish and manage by B.O.T system.

The chief of the Egyptian national organization for bridges and roads, Nabil El-Koumy, told ArabicNews.com that the company has asked to establish this network over 10 years and to have the rights to it for a period of 99 years.

The organization believes that the implementation could take six years and the privilege for 50 years, for having peace of lands along the roads to establish invested and tourist projects on it.
