Odai Saddam Hussein: 1998 considered a year of victories for Iraq

Originally published

The Iraqi daily Babel, supervised by the elder son of Saddam Hussein, considered the year 1998 as the year "for great and numerous Iraqi victories." The paper wrote on Monday that these "these great achievements meant bitter defeats for the governments of the US and Britain."

In reference to the British-US attacks in December, the paper said the best victory for 1998 was "the great Iraqi triumph against the US and British killers."
