Israel clings to Golan occupation

Member of the Israeli Knesset of the "Third Way" party, Emanuel Zisman, has reiterated his party's adherence to the occupation of the Golan Heights and its refusal to restore the Golan to Syria.

In a statement to Israeli Army Radio on Monday, Zisman said that the Third Way Party, which supported settlement in the Golan, Jerusalem and the Jordan Valley will not give up what he called "its doctrine message" aiming at encouraging and supporting settlement.

He added that the Third Way Party will will head for the coming elections in an independent list apart from the two main Israeli parties, Likud and Labor.
