For better Egyptian-Iranian relations

Iranian Vice President Masumeh Ebtekar has asserted that strengthening economic and trade relations between Egypt and Iran would foster political relations between the two countries.

In a statement to the Saudi daily Okaz published on Sunday, the Iranian vice president added that economic cooperation with Egypt proceeds positively as do political relations.

She underlined the importance of exchanging visits and delegations to improve Iranian political relations with Egypt which enjoy international political weight.

The Iranian vice president also stressed the firm Iranian - Saudi relations "which are continuously developed in the interests of the two countries" noting continuous coordination and consultations between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
