Syrian party official confers with Islamic National Conference chief

Assistant Secretary General of the Syrian Baath Party Abdullah al-Ahmar on Sunday received the general coordinator of the Islamic National Conference, Adel Malek al-Mutawakil.

Talks between the two sides dealt with developments in the Middle East, means of promoting Islamic-Arab solidarity in confrontation of recent challenges, foremost being Israeli policy. Talks also dealt with the activities made by the Islamic National Conference in order to maintain needed people's efforts in "serving set national goals."
