Algerian government delivers annual statement
Algerian Prime Minister Ahmad Ouyahia has asserted that despite the continued improvement of the security situation in the country, terrorism should be eliminated.
Upon introducing on Sunday the annual statement of the government's general policy before members of the national People's Council (Parliament), the Algerian Premier noted transformations that have been taking place in Algeria in various security, organizational, economic, cultural and political areas. He added that some 200 billion Algerian dinars had been allotted from the state's general budget to support reforms in social policy.
Ouyahia added that the privatization process has been carried out in the context of the law and that Algeria has succeeded in gaining credibility in fighting terrorism, commitment to democracy and improving its national development.
