Arab group at the UN asks for investigation of US strike of Sudanese factory
The Arab group at the UN has for the second time asked the UN Security Council to approve an investigation by the UN into the attack carried out by the US against a Sudanese pharmaceutical factory on August 20.
The 22-state Arab group asked UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan to dispatch an investigation team for that purpose as well as to submit a report on the results of investigations to be made by this team within one month of adopting the proposal.
