Egyptian- Saudi business conference to be held later this week

The second conference for Egyptian and Saudi businessmen is to be held on December 5 - 7, organized by the council of trade chambers in the two countries.

Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs Sayed Abu Zied said that this conference was agreed to during the meetings of Egyptian - Saudi joint committee in Riyadh during June under the chairmanship of the two countries' foreign ministers, Amr Moussa and Prince Saud al-Faisal.

Abu Zied added that a large number of the two states' businessmen will take part in the conference, at the top of which comes the trade chamber's leaders, the industrial union and the businessmen's assembly.

The conference will discuss methods of activating cooperation between businessmen in the two states and the opening of new domains for cooperation among them, Abu Zied said.
