Mubarak, Saudi FM discuss ME peace

Originally published

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Sunday received Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al Faisal.

Egypt's Foreign minister Amr Moussa attended the meeting. Talks dealt with the current stalemate in the ME peace process, resulting from the Israeli intransigent stand, as well as developments of the Iragi crisis with the UN.

Following the meeting, the Saudi FM stressed identical Saudi-Egyptian stances on the need to commit to the basics of just and comprehensive peace on the ground of implementing UN Security Council resolutions and the land for peace formula. The Saudi minister demanded the need for mobilizing all Arab efforts to "restore Arab rights."
