Arab tourism conference: regarding Arab visitors as first-class citizens

Originally published

The first annual conference on developing inter-Arab tourism called for special attention for Arab tourists whenever they are in the Arab homeland and called for regarding them as "first-class citizens."

In deliberations that concluded in Cairo on Sunday, the conference recommended settling visa problems and issuing a common visa, valid for visiting a group of Arab states.

The conference also called for easing customs and passport-giving procedures for Arab and foreign tourists as well as decreasing flight prices. The conference, attended by delegations from most Arab states, called for confronting world economic blocs in this context.
