Hamas to transfer offices from Jordan to Damascus
Sources close to the Islamic resistance Hamas movement in Jordan said that the movement's political bureau has recently decided to transfer its headquarters and cadres to Damascus instead of Amman following the harassment the movement's leaders face by the government due to their statements which oppose Wye plantation agreement.
Al-Quds daily published in the occupied Arab territories quoted these sources as saying that a member of the movement's political bureau Moussa Abu Marzouk held talks with Syrian officials in Damascus on transferring Hamas's political office to Damascus. The paper added that the Syrian officials gave the movement "the green light" to transfer its activities to Damascus.
