Jordan, Turkey, to carry out joint land maneuvers

The French news bulletin " top urgent" said that Jordan and Turkey are planning to carry out joint land maneuvers before the end of the current year, 1998.

The bulletin explained the Turkish-Jordanian military closeness which started immediately following the establishment of the Turkish-Israeli alliance had been so far put into actual realization through organizing training courses for Jordanian army officers in Turkey as well as Jordan's participation in the joint maneuvering organized in 1997 between Turkey and Israel in collaboration with the USA.
