Moroccan public health sector goes on strike next week

Moroccan public health workers, personnel, nurses and physicians, will stage this November 11 a one day strike to protest the authorities' indifference to their grievances. Last year they observed a series of strikes to improve their financial and work conditions. Moroccan health minister, Abdelouahed El Fassi, said the projected strike is unjustified as the government is doing its best to improve the social sector within limited financial resources.
