Algeria warns Heshani against continuing his political participation

Sources close to the third leader of the Algeria Islamic Salvation Front, Sheikh Abdul Qadar Heishani, stated that the Algerian authorities have warned him against taking part in any political action, as well as current actions within the reconciliation committee.

These sources told ArabicNews.com that Heshani replied to the warning by confirming his insistence on practicing his rights within the law and constitution, including continuing his participation in the reconciliation committee formed last month.

The committee is comprised of former president Ahmed Bin Balah, the former head of the national people's council Abdul Aziz Belkhadem, and the former secretary general of the National Liberation Front, Abdul Hamid Mahir.
