Kharazi to visit Baghdad soon

An Iraqi source told ArabicNews.com today that Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi will visit Baghdad soon. The source, who refused to specify the date of the visit, said that Iran's first vice president, Hassan Habibi, will also visit Iraq after Kharazi's visit.

If the visit of the Iranian president's first deputy to Iraq takes place, it will be the most important visit by an Iranian official to Iraq since the end of the war between the two countries in 1988.
