Khatami to visit France in February

An Iranian source told ArabicNews.com today that Iranian President Mohammed Khatami will pay an official visit to France during next February, the first such visit to an European country since the Islamic revolution 20 years ago.

Khatami's visit comes according to the invitation directed to him by French President Jacques Chirac through French Foreign Minister Hubert Vederine who visited Teheran during last August.
