Russian - Egyptian committee to meet in December

Egyptian Minister of Trade and Supply Ahmed Goweili said yesterday while receiving Russian Minister of Nationalities Ramazan Abdulatipov that second session of the Russian - Egyptian joint committee for trade, technical, scientific and economic cooperation will convene during December.

Convening this session comes to pave the way for an anticipated visit by Russian President Boris Yeltsin to Cairo during the first quarter of the coming year.

Goweili stated, "Many issues regarding commercial and economic relations between the two countries have been discussed."

He added that, "Movement toward developing commercial relations between the two countries has already started."
