Workshop for rural leaders in renewable energy

The Rabat-based Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) is holding in Tehran (Iran) this November 3-11 a workshop on the use of renewable energy sources.

Co-sponsored by the ministry of the Iranian ministries of education and Iran, the workshop is attended by 20 participants (rural leaders) from different parts of the country.

The workshop is being held at three different locations and will be supervised by three organizations namely, Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST) and Renewable Energy Organization for Iran (REOI) and Optical Fiber and Solar Cell Fabrication Organization (OFSCO).

The course will include topics such as radiation measurement, Photovoltaic / Solar cells, Solar water heater, solar air heater, desalination, Solar dryer and Solar Chimney etc.
