Algerian accuses Borkina Fasso of Sheltering the terrorists

Originally published

Algeria condemned yesterday the decision made by Burkina Faso to shelter Ahmed El-Zawi, one leader of the prohibited Islamic Salvation Front, who was sentenced to death after being expelled last Thursday from Switzerland.

The official spokesman of the Algerian Foreign Ministry, Sabah Abdul Aziz, said, "At a time when the international group works together against terrorism, it makes no sense that an African country shelters one leader of a terrorist group that was internally and externally pursued by Algeria."
