Saleh: Arab states should revive economic, political boycott of Israel
Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh has asserted that the Arab states have to revive an economic and political boycott of Israel.
In an interview with the Egyptian daily al-Shaab issued on Tuesday, the Yemeni president added, "When the Arabs hold unanimous stances and restore solidarity as well as revive Arab boycott of Israel, America will be obliged to achieve understanding with the Arabs."
The Yemeni President asked "why not boycott Israel, It is the enemy which deserves to be boycotted."
He added that he does not find a justification for the US call to the Arab states to normalize its relations with Israel, following the recent Wye Plantation agreement between the Palestinian government and Israel.
