Palestinian delegation visits Cairo

The head of the Palestinian Legislative Council, Ahmed Qrei arrived in Cairo heading a Palestinian delegation to fulfill the invitation that was directed by the head of the Egyptian People's Council, Ahmed Fathi Srour, to discuss the latest peace developments.

The delegation will also meet with Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa.

Palestine's delegate at the Arab League, Mohammed Sobeih said the visit aims at enhancing relations in all aspects as well exchanging opinions and consultations on the peace process.

He added that discussions will be held on activating the Arab parliamentary role in attempting to improve Arab relations with the US Congress and the European Parliament. He said they would also discuss how to develop as well as push forward Arab delegations to the US to explain the Arab situation and Arab positions and explain Israel's obstinacy.
