Amal condemns Sidon attacks as fighting continues in the south
The Amal movement condemned two attacks in Sidon this week, in which two policemen were killed and a car bomb that Amal said was planned by Israel to undermine security in the area, Lebanon's National News Agency reported.
Lebanese resistance forces attacked a position of the Israeli-allied South Lebanon Army militia in al-Sweida and Israeli troops in Tallousa, al-Salaa and al-Qassir, the report said.
The NNA also reported that Israeli artillery in occupied south Lebanon attacked Al-Qayssieh Wadi and the outskirts of Tawline and Qabreekha, as well as al-Zaatar Hilltop, the banks of the al-Zahrani River, the outskirts of Arab Salem, al-Tasseh Well and Iqlim al-Tuffah.
Israeli warplanes flew over the western and central sectors of south Lebanon, including Sidon, the report said.
