Morocco hosts international meeting on irrigation
The International Irrigation Commission organizes next week in Rabat a workshop on "the future of Irrigation in the World." The event, to be attended by water experts and agronomists from Morocco and abroad, will look into progress made in irrigation and water harnessing techniques.
Participants will also hear several reports on latest innovations made in water rational use, management, re-cycling and pipelines construction.
The International Irrigation Commission is a Ngo set up in 1950 to promote irrigation and drainage sciences and counter the danger of floods caused by rivers swelling and torrential rains.
