Morocco hosts fifth International Agriculture Fair
The fifth International Agriculture Fair opened Tuesday in Casablanca with the participation of 160 exhibitors coming from the four corners of the world.
The event, to wrap up on September 20, is an opportunity for visitors and professionals to see the latest innovations in agricultural machinery, irrigation, seed engineering, livestock breeding, veterinary sciences and agriculture computing.
The organizers also feature round table discussions on Morocco's agriculture, environmental policy and forests.
The Moroccan agriculture sector represents around 20 percent of the country's GDP and employs nearly half of an estimated 10-million workforce.
